Have Kids Will Travel: Bethany & Adam’s Tips for Success

I’m so thankful to be able to travel around the world with my family. We keep each other grounded, encouraged, and definitely full of love.

We prefer to be together so we choose to travel as a family; plus, I’m currently nursing my baby, so leaving the little one home isn’t an option.

In fact, we are prepping now for an upcoming trip to release my new film Bethany Hamilton: Unstoppable (going to theaters starting July 12th!), and to compete in some surf events!

A typical trip entails the four of us, together, boarding planes, busses and sometimes boats, carrying large surfboard bags, regular suitcases, carry ons and car seats, baby in the carrier, and a curious toddler in tow.

Yes it is a lot! But through trial, error, and some creativity, we’ve figured out a few go-to tricks that help everyone (even the littlest members of the family) better enjoy each adventure near or far.
